Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager to support our Specialty Commercial Business Unit (BU) focused on developing insights and points of view that drive business strategy. This role will engage in a diverse and variable scope of responsibilities and experiences with the immediate focus on cultivating market research and assessing market trends to develop fact-based points of view related to markets, customers, and capabilities.

This is an individual contributor role. The role can be remote, but a strong preference is to have the role located in Hudson, WI where the senior leadership team is located.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in, and provide valuable contributions, to the Business Unit leadership team.
  • Own and leverage the Product and Capabilities Strategic Framework to strategically position the BU and guide the commercial team.
  • Support M&A strategies and the annual strategic plan.
  • Identify market/customer trends, unmet market needs and opportunities in the markets we serve where Phillips-Medisize capabilities can create value and mutual benefit with our respective customers.
  • Seek and interpret feedback to develop clear and concise messaging regarding our competitive points of differentiation and value proposition.
  • Proactively drive and foster communication with Senior and executive level stakeholders, to provide market and customer POV, as well as drive transparency, sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Be a vocal champion of our Principles Based Management culture.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in strategic marketing roles.
  • Experience within key markets - Consumer, Automotive, and Defense


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with product development, contract manufacturing and associated processes.
  • Experience cultivating market research, assessing market trends, and uncovering new insights to develop informed points of view that drive business strategy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence management at multiple levels.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with ability to build strategies from scratch.
  • Proven ability to create and present executive level content.
  • Intellectually curious with a desire to learn, grow and develop creative solutions.

We anticipate paying $145k-$185k annually for this position.
